The New Day, New Thought. HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS 2015

Image0033As I woke up early in the morning today, I heard the soothing beats of rain across my window pane, feeling the cool breeze around, but yet lazy with my cosy comfy bed not letting me up.

Out of sleep, right awake I realize, “Oh it’s the new day of the New Year. I see my phone, loads of wishes and calls been missed.

Again I see the morning is quite after the drizzle, the sun shines bright and clear. The saying goes in my mind “Let the rain wash away all the pain of yesterday” and so I see a beautiful today!

Oh this day excites me, motivates me for the new ventures of my life as God has blessed me to witness 2015.

I followed by with a bright red dress and a happy smile. I wish the same smiles and joys throughout your lives.

Wishing you a peaceful and prosperous 2015.

I just can’t imagine I have spent 10 years of my life’s journey in KLE’S Dr.M.S.S College of Engineering and Technology, Belgaum. I stepped in as a teenager, studied my engineering in BT, early 20’s served the Institution as a Lecturer and late 20’s again as a student. I mean how anyone can be so blessed to have this memorable journey and it is a wonderful experience.

Being an average student during my graduation and very good at extra-curricular activities, I witnessed a great strength of encouragement from my parents, teachers and my friends. The same strength continued to support me as I started working. I remember the self transformation from a student to a working lady-learning the sense of responsibility which was again taught by my teachers who were now my colleagues.

There came a twist in the journey, which came up with my “vidaai” – I was getting married and had a feeling similar to when a daughter leaves home after marriage and thus I call my college as my “second home.”

With all new hopes and wishes left my home for a new role and was quite capable of managing things and better strong to deal with minor hiccups.

Later on I saw myself choose a new path thereafter and had never imagined or prepared for. I choose to learn, relearn and wished to be “someone” rather than just being a wife. As always I got a helping hand from my parents and my teachers.

Here I am again a student of M.Tech in Bioinformatics at the same college where I graduated from. My colleagues are now my teachers!!! New colours of life, new subjects, new friends and so lucky to meet you guys. Once upon an average student now I managed to be a topper for the class and this was a great challenge for me and I succeeded. I thank you my lord to give me courage in the hard phase of my life and for what I achieved.

I would like to share a few things about my final year M.Tech project, topic named as “Development of Virtual Screening- Artificial Intelligence Models for Inconclusive datasets of PubChem” carrying out at CSIR-OSDD Research Unit, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. I considered myself as an Inconclusive dataset, who was trained by circumstances and succeeded to be an Active Dataset.

Through this note I take an opportunity to thank each and everyone who has helped or compelled me to be here at CSIR-OSDD Research Unit, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. I am great full to all and wish that you shower the same blessings as you have been doing till date.

My steps, tunes , passion helped me to learn, relearn

The solitude and sorrows helped me to learn, relearn myself and has moulded me spiritually to collaborate with the universe where all of us exist.

My passion to learn and devote myself in the best way possible has emerged the truth of my life which has related me scientifically and spiritually.

I do not distinguish science from other disciplines, instead I perceive fusing science with every domain that exists in the universe.

Our ray of hope, our way of dreams is driving me towards the infinite spirit of service in open science, as I hope to contribute oneself.

My tunes, my music, my soul, as a performer, an artist and ofcourse a researcher I seek high esteem of purity and  principle that makes us an example for our mother land .

 “Vande Mataram”

Mother, I salute thee!
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
bright with orchard gleams,
Cool with thy winds of delight,
Dark fields waving, Mother of might,
Mother free.

Glory of moonlight dreams,
Over thy branches and lordly streams,
Clad in thy blossoming trees,
Mother, giver of ease
Laughing low and sweet!
Mother I kiss thy feet,
Speaker sweet and low, Mother, I salute thee!

Oh motherland you have enriched me with an inheritance of fauna-flora, geology, the legacy of physical artefacts and intangible attributes of society, above all your LOVE. How do I serve you back?

I remember words of Swami Vivekananda, “Practical patriotism means not a mere sentiment or even emotion of love of the motherland but a passion to serve our fellow countrymen

Thus, I would serve my fellow countrymen by enhancing science, indeed open-science in many ways.
